Kylie Kelce is keeping it real about raising four children. The podcast host and wife of former football player Jason Kelce recently broke down their childcare arrangements in a new interview.
“We couldn’t do it without my parents,” Kylie said on the latest episode of Michelle Obama’s “IMO” podcast. “My parents live 15 minutes from us and they have helped us in every way imaginable.”
She also praised Jason’s parents—Donna and Ed Kelce—for stepping in to care for daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finn, who are between the ages of 7 and 1.
“My husband and I have very busy schedules. We don’t necessarily want a live-in nanny or someone who’s going to be raising our kids void of us. That feels weird,” Kylie said. “So we do a lot with my parents every chance we get. We do things with Jason’s parents. We find that those are the values that we were raised with that we want our kids to have, not just because we tell them that, but because we live it.”
Jason and Kylie’s daughters played an important role in their uncle Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift. The couple married in New York City a little over three months ago, with Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finn serving as flower girls.
Speaking to the Reno Gazette Journal on July 11, Jason said he was “very happy” that they were involved in the ceremony, which was held at Madison Square Garden.
“It was a special event for our entire family, and obviously my daughters are incredible,” Jason shared. “They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them. So, very happy we were able to be a part of it, and more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day.”
