U.S. forces have reportedly destroyed the last of Iran’s four Soleimani-class warships, according to Brad Cooper, commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
In a major operational update, Adm. Cooper confirmed that American forces have eliminated the entire class of Iranian Soleimani-class missile corvettes, a key component of Iran’s fast-attack naval fleet.
These warships—named after Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani—were designed for high-speed operations, anti-ship missile strikes, and swarm tactics in the Persian Gulf. With the fourth and final vessel now destroyed, CENTCOM says the entire class has effectively been taken out of the fight.
Officials say the strikes are part of a broader campaign targeting Iranian naval assets, missiles, and drone infrastructure across the region as tensions continue to escalate.
The announcement comes amid ongoing operations led by United States Central Command against Iranian military capabilities in the Middle East.

With the destruction of these ships, analysts say Iran’s ability to threaten shipping lanes and U.S. naval forces in the Gulf could face a significant setback, though regional tensions remain extremely high.
