ANDREW Tate is “very sick” and being denied medical treatment in jail, according to the disgraced influencer’s lawyer.
The self-proclaimed misogynist, 39, is awaiting extradition to the UK where he faces dozens of charges including rape and human trafficking.
His attorney Joe McBride said the controversial internet personality in “very sick” in his Florida prison cell.
The lawyer said: “He asked for medical treatment multiple times.
“Medical care is a fundamental human right.
“If Andrew does not get treatment soon, we will sue FDC Miami into oblivion. Pray for him.”
When Tate was previously being held in Romania, he begged local authorities to repatriate him to the United Arab Emirates because he allegedly had lung-related health issues, Newsweek reported.
The former kickboxer and his brother Tristan have been locked up in FDC Miami since they were arrested this summer.
They are fighting extradition to the UK – where prosecutors have hit them with 59 charges.
According to court documents, Andrew has been accused of filming sexualised videos with a child and possessing bestiality images on his phone.
The Tate brothers deny all the charges as Brit prosecutors continue to try and bring them to the UK to face trial.
Inmates have told human rights organisations of the prison’s hellish conditions.
A Human Rights Watch report described cases of “extreme overcrowding, unsanitary conditions and abusive treatment” inside FDC Miami.
Both Tate and his brother are being held in a special housing unit there – a separate section.
Tristan moaned to his lawyer in August complaining he wasn’t getting enough snacks.
McBride shared his message on X, which read: “We have had 14 snack items in the past 32 days between two big men.
“What is this, trick or treat? I’ve lost 13 pounds and I’m hungry.”
According to the Miami New Times, the brothers have racked up a bill of roughly £4,000 between them at the prison commissary as of August.
Andrew $3,564; Tristan $2,583 as of early August — according to Miami FDC records obtained by the Miami New Times.
The full case against Tate includes allegations of rape, assault, human trafficking, controlling prostitution for gain, and possession of extreme pornography.
British authorities formally launched the process to bring him to the UK in September – with the move being fought by his lawyers.
Tate’s attorney, Joseph McBride, has called the claims “prosecution slop”.
He told TMZ police are linking Tate to a device allegedly found in a “flop house” and have no evidence he ever watched any of the alleged material.
