🚨 TAYLOR SWIFT’S CONFESSION HAS FANS TALKING! She revealed the VERY WEIRD THING she and childhood best friend Abigail Anderson do together, and their husbands reportedly just have to sit back and tolerate it. Even married life hasn’t changed their friendship! ðŸ˜
Taylor Swift has given fans a glimpse at her quirky dynamic with her best friend Abigail Anderson.
The 36-year-old pop star dished about the lifelong friendship during a Toy Story 5 Q&A with director Andrew Stanton on Sunday, revealing she and Anderson often speak in ‘Napoleon Dynamite voices.’
In a video clip shared by the Instagram fan account @swiftieswonderland_13, Swift highlighted the parallels between the animated characters Bonnie and Blaze and her and Anderson.
‘I’d love to pile on to what Andrew was saying about finding someone who’s the same genre as weird and silly as you are and just why Bonnie and Blaze’s story resonated with me so much,’ she said. ‘When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you know, you’re the new kid in school, and you’re like, “Who should I be friends with? These girls are cool, these girls are cool, these are nice girls.”
‘But there was one girl named Abigail – and she even has curly hair, too, like Blaze – and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices,’ she added, eliciting laughter from the live audience.
‘And we still do this – and it’s something our husbands have to put up with,’ she added, referencing new husband Travis Kelce, 37.
The singer elaborated: ‘When you find that person who just completely sees you for the strange, little genre that is you at your purest, that hit me so hard watching the film.’
Fans can also look forward to the star’s forthcoming appearance at the Country Music Awards in November.
In September, she announced her plan to attend the upcoming awards show for the first time in ten years.
Her song I Knew It, I Knew You, from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, is nominated for Single of the Year alongside two Ella Langley songs, as well as tracks by Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson.
The hitmaker’s fans went wild over the news, with many predicting that Swift might release a re-recording of her first album, Debut.
The singer–songwriter last showed up at the CMAs in 2016, when she presented Garth Brooks with the award for Entertainer of the Year.
This year’s event will take place on November 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, hosted by Lainey Wilson.
