Kontrakt podpisany. Kolejny Polak zagra w Barcelonie
Koszykarz reprezentacji Polski Aleksander Balcerowski podpisał dwuletni kontrakt z Barceloną. 25-letni środkowy ostatnio występował w Unicai Malaga, ale w poniedziałek za porozumieniem stron rozwiązał umowę z andaluzyjskim klubem.
Barcelona to aktualny wicemistrz Hiszpanii. Finałową serię sezonu 2025/26 przegrała z Valencią. Unicaja uplasowała się na dziewiątym miejscu i nie wystąpiła w fazie play off.
Aleksander Balcerowski został zawodnikiem Barcelony
Balcerowski grał w Maladze od 2024 roku. Z Unicają w 2025 r. triumfował w Lidze Mistrzów FIBA oraz Interkontynentalnym Pucharze FIBA. W barwach tego klubu rozegrał w sumie 105 meczów, notując średnio 7,2 punktu i 2,4 zbiórki.
Klub z Katalonii będzie miał też nowego trenera. W środę poinformowano, że zostanie nim 48-letni Aleksander Sekulić, prowadzący reprezentację Słowenii, którego kontrakt będzie obowiązywał do 30 czerwca 2028 r. To pierwszy słoweński trener w historii “Dumy Katalonii”.
W latach 2013-2015 zawodnikiem Barcelony był inny środkowy reprezentacji Polski Maciej Lampe.
