How Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spent Their First Public Date in Months

With his Kansas City Chiefs training camp behind him, Travis Kelce joined his wife, Taylor Swift, in New York City on Sunday. The couple got dressed up for a dinner date: Swift chose a striped gold and brown Stella McCartney halter-neck dress, which she paired with a brown Stella McCartney bag and Aquazzura’s Twist Sandal 95. She wore her shoulder-length hair down in curls.

Kelce complemented her in a white top and brown pants, which he paired with checkered shoes. The couple didn’t dine alone, People reported. They joined two men at the Indian restaurant Ambassadors Clubhouse New York, a source told the outlet, adding that the group ate in the restaurant’s main dining area. They ordered “a variety of classics from the menu,” the insider added.

This marks Swift and Kelce’s first public date since July. Following their July 3 nuptials, the newlyweds were photographed at Kelce’s friend JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding in California.

On August 14, a source spoke to People about Swift and Kelce’s new chapter as a married couple. “[They] feel really grateful,” the insider said. “They’re both just so excited that they’re husband and wife now. Their relationship feels even more special.”

Their careers are thriving, too, the source added: “They’re both always working, creating, or thinking about what comes next. And they love living like this. They both feel really grateful for everything they have. They’re very happy.”

Kelce will return to the spotlight on September 14 for the Chiefs’ first game of the season against the Denver Broncos. Swift, meanwhile, could make her next red carpet appearance at the MTV VMAs on September 27; she is nominated for nine awards.
