Breaking: Daniel Siad, the Scout Whose Name Appears Over 2,000 Times in Epstein Files and Who Faced Multiple Rape Allegations, Dies Suddenly Near Paris
French authorities confirmed that Daniel Siad, a 69-year-old model scout with deep ties to Jeffrey Epstein, was found unresponsive in his kitchen in Colombes, a suburb of Paris, on Monday evening.
A woman staying at the residence discovered the body, and neighbors attempted CPR without success. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death, while prosecutors have opened an investigation. Reports indicate Siad had been under scrutiny in France for potential involvement in Epstein-related activities and faced separate accusations of sexual violence.
Court documents and released DOJ files show Siad’s name mentioned more than 2,000 times, detailing how he recruited young women from various countries for Epstein over a decade. Epstein reportedly paid him tens of thousands of dollars, and emails reveal Siad sending photos and profiles of models, sometimes in provocative poses, while coordinating travel. Siad had previously claimed he believed Epstein was legitimate after his 2008 conviction and denied any knowledge of abuse, though two women he introduced later accused Epstein of assault.
In recent months, Siad faced multiple rape allegations from women, including a 1990 claim by former Swedish model Ebba Karlsson. A Paris criminal probe launched earlier this year was examining his activities. His death comes as another Epstein associate, Jean-Luc Brunel, died by suicide in prison in 2022 while facing similar charges, adding to ongoing speculation and calls for justice for victims who may now face further delays in accountability.
