Zahara Jolie has that star power. The 21-year-old took a style cue from her famous mother, Angelina Jolie, as she joined her at a screening of Without Blood at Village East Cinema in New York City last night.

Ever the elegant minimalists, the two coordinated in chic black ensembles. Zahara wore an easy black halter dress with a knotted detail at the center that created a slouchy drop waist. She paired it with pointy black heels, dangly earrings, and a short black manicure. And for glam, she opted for a natural, fresh-faced look and left her hair down in bouncy natural curls.

Angelina pulled one of her go-to styles for the evening: a sleek black suit with a double-breasted blazer and tailored, pleated pants. But in an unexpected turn, the actor styled her jacket over a silky ivory bra with romantic lace detailing—a piece that added a subtly sexy touch to the otherwise sharp business look (and co-signed the exposed-bra trend).

Like her daughter, the actor completed her outfit with pointy black heels. Her icy blonde hair was styled down, straight, and her classic makeup look included a black cat eye and a glossy pink lip.

Angelina is the writer, director, and producer for Without Blood, which stars Salma Hayek and Demián Bichir. The war drama is an adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s novel of the same name. It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last week, and is set to be released in the United States on September 18.
