Harry is reportedly SHOCKED that Prince William is ignoring him, but what exactly did he expect?! After years of exposing family secrets, publishing a memoir and discussing their private fallout publicly, he now seems surprised that trust has been shattered. Reconciliation isn’t an entitlement, Harry! It requires accountability, humility and TWO willing people. William owes him nothing simply because he’s ready to reconnect. Prince Harry is reportedly “shocked” about how Prince William has been acting since his UK return, a source has claimed. In August, the Duke of Sussex moved back to Britain with his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

While Harry said the reason behind the UK return was the “opportunities” available for the family, it seems that wanting to be close to his own royal relatives – after living in the US for the past six years – was also a motivating factor for Harry. However, it seems that living back on home soil hasn’t guaranteed an automatic reconciliation.

This is because tensions have been high between Harry and some of his royal relatives since the Duke stepped back from royal duties in 2020, including with his brother William. While they may now be living closer physically, it seems this has made little difference in the state of their relationship, with the brothers on non-talking terms.

It is believed that Harry has been “shocked” that William has not wanted to make amends, with William deciding to instead ignore his younger brother’s UK return. The Prince of Wales has not even mentioned Harry publicly.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “William’s acting like Harry and Meghan don’t exist. Ignoring Harry is his way of handling what he considers to be a wretchedly unpleasant situation.”

The source said that this has been “infuriating” Harry, who has said on many occasions he wants to reconcile with his older brother. The source said: “It’s infuriating to him (Harry).

“Harry’s known to be impulsive, and the more wound up he gets, the more likely he is to follow through on threats to make William regret this.

“He insists he’s tried to find every possible way to say that he’s sorry. He’s genuinely shocked that there’s not even been a shred of forgiveness on William’s part.”

William has steered clear of Harry for a few years now, with Harry’s memoir Spare – released in 2023 – believed to have been the final straw for the future king. Even though William and Harry have been in the same room since the release of the book, they are not believed to have spoken.

While the brothers are not on good terms with one another, it seems that their father, King Charles, has been making an effort with both of them. The monarch hosted Harry and his family at Highgrove for a family meeting in July.

This was a month before Harry’s move back to the UK. However, it is believed the monarch has not seen his youngest son, his daughter-in-law, or his grandchildren since they set up home back in Britain.
