Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, helped their Team 62 fundraising effort generate a record-breaking $1.26 million for the Eagles Autism Foundation in 2026, pushing the event’s total contribution since 2021 beyond $3.69 million.

For an NFL world accustomed to measuring greatness in championships, Pro Bowls, contracts, and statistics, Kelce is offering a very different scoreboard.

Lives touched. Families supported. Communities brought together.

And perhaps that explains why the reaction has become so emotional.

Kelce never needed another reason for Philadelphia to love him.

Every summer, Team 62’s gathering at Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City has transformed what could have been a celebrity appearance into a major fundraising machine. The event began with Kelce using his personality and connection with Eagles fans to generate support for autism research and care.

Six years later, the scale is dramatically different.

The 2026 edition included celebrity bartending, a Beer Bowl competition, an online auction, yoga, a family-friendly Eagles takeover, and an all-abilities sports clinic. Current players, Eagles legends, supporters, and members of the wider community all became part of the effort.

It raised more money than any previous edition.

But what makes the story compelling isn’t simply the amount.

It is what sits behind it.

Kelce could easily have spent retirement distancing himself from the obligations that followed an exhausting NFL career. He has television opportunities, a hugely successful podcast with his brother Travis, endorsements, appearances, and an increasingly prominent place in popular culture.

Instead, he keeps returning to the same city, the same fans, and many of the same causes that became important to him while wearing No. 62.

That tells its own story.

The Eagles Autism Foundation has become one of the most visible charitable initiatives in professional sports, supporting autism research and community programs. The Philadelphia Eagles announced that their broader 2026 Autism Challenge alone raised more than $16 million, with nearly 40,000 donations and thousands of participants. Jason Kelce was among the Eagles figures who attended.

Team 62 represents one piece of that enormous effort — but it is an especially personal one.

The money raised helps support research and community grants designed to improve care and opportunities for autistic individuals and their families. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the proceeds support a network that includes more than 223 research projects and community grants around the world.

That is where the story moves beyond celebrity charity.

It becomes impact.

There is also another side to Kelce’s post-football mission.

Jason and Kylie founded the Be Philly Foundation, focusing on programs for young people in Philadelphia, particularly underserved and underrepresented children. A 2026 golf fundraiser brought in $553,500 for the foundation, whose work centers on opportunities including mentorship, education and career development.
