Meghan’s half-brother has pleaded with the Duchess of Sussex for forgiveness after serious allegations were made against their father, Thomas Markle Sr.
Thomas Markle Jr, 60, said he felt “ashamed” for siding with his father, 82, was accused of allegedly possessing a collection of child sexual abuse imagery.
Thomas Sr has strenuously denied all allegations.
Philippine authorities have confirmed they are investigating the claims after Thomas Jr claimed he found the stash in his father’s former residence in the Philippines, according to The Sun.
Thomas Jr told police he found the alleged pictures and videos mixed in with family mementoes. He is also said to have approached FBI investigators in the United States in July.
For the past four years, Thomas Jr had been living in the Philippines, caring for his ailing father after he suffered a debilitating stroke in 2022.
He had previously criticised and mocked Meghan during their rift, including donning a wig and impersonating her in videos on his YouTube channel.
